​​Operating since 2012 Mediasmiths Asia Pac has assisted leading media broadcast entities to transform their media management across the enterprise.

We work with some of the largest Broadcast and Media companies across Australia and New Zealand, delivering media products and specialist services for the rapidly changing technology our clients work within.

It is our aim to deliver solutions that deliver innovative workable solutions for improved performance and usability.

Recent Major Projects

In August 2013, FOXTEL completed the first phase of their Content Factory Programme – a transformative shift for Foxtel and its 150+ channels to end-to-end file-based operations. Mediasmiths supported FOXTEL throughout the whole of this first phase with technical and training services, change management, from system conception and design, through development, testing, implementation and into production.
In July 2014, Foxtel commenced an enhancement and upgrade to the Content Factory known as the Paradigm Shift project, which went live in early 2015.
 We started assisting SKY NZ to transition through to an end to end solution in 2014. The SKY project included the design, development and delivery of a Media Broadcast solution known as the DNA Programme MAM System.
Mediasmiths delivered a Workflow Engine integrating with an ESB, MAM, online storage, archive as well as third party connected systems such as editing suites, transcoders, scheduling solutions, etc.
In 2015/16 the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) replaced their Non-linear Editing solution, which required the replacement and upgrade of current editing end-of-life hardware and software utilised by the ABC in order to improve performance.  
This also included the early introduction and first stage of a MAM and workflow solution deployment from Mediasmiths to support the ABC’s media management operations.
